The Silent event party hosted by African Elite Entertainment was a great event. It was held at R house located in Wynwood. Starting at 10pm the battle of the DJ’s began as party listeners danced the night away enjoying music from 3 channels. To enjoy and be part of the event everyone had to have a pair of headphones. The channels varied from afrobeats, dancehall, reggae, kizomba, zouk, kompa and hip hop. As a first timer I had the best time of my life I literally danced till the event ended. The best thing about the whole experience is connecting with strangers all by the power of music. If I was dancing and singing to the blue channel which was hip hop and someone across from me was tuned in to the green channel was zouk we’ll signal one another to switch to the channel we’re listening to so that we can both enjoy the music. The overall experience was amazing it’s a great way to network, meet new people and even a nice ice breaker for a first date. As the night was coming to an end all 3 DJ’s had to put in a little bit of work to win over the crowd’s decision to win the contest. The crowed tuned in and stayed in and picked DJ Cool Blaze as the AfroBeatMiami DJ of the year.
