Issue #41 – The Attainment Issue

Sometimes you have to stop and thank the heavens for your life blessings.
The year 2020 has been a trying year for all of us. I think it’s safe to say that
instead of yelling Happy New Year, we should all be screaming JUMANJI!
Think about it for one second, losing Kobe Bryant and Chadwick Boseman
were probably the most shocking tragedies we’ve endured, natural disasters
did not spare us, we’ve had an historic election and nor can we forget a global
pandemic. The magazine was supposed to launch in California and in New
York but unfortunately had to come to a complete halt because COVID-19.
Though I can say that I’m extremely happy that my team is safe and healthy,
my heart goes out to all that have lost loved ones to this virus and hope the
year 2021 will bring us good fortune.

With this said, I want to say that we are more than happy to have a well-rounded
artist on her way to stardom gracing our cover this time around,
Lisa Yaro. Her inspiring and uplifting story is one for the books.
The outpour of submissions of artists for this issue was certainly
overwhelming. They came from all over the world. Particularly Serg
Garkus, a photographer from Ukraine, now living in Poland, whose hunger
for success is admirable. We are honored to feature him in our Who’s who
section of people you need to know.

Moreover, we are happy to have celebrated our 40th issue in a very unique
manner and feel grateful that you continue to support us in our climb to our
50th due in two years.

Our contributors are the backbone of this issue and for this we are ever so
grateful. We would like to extend our congratulations to our columnist Toni
Douglas for publishing her first book “Controlling Your Crazy While
Dating Your Non-Existent Boyfriend”. She has labored for 7 long years
and we would like to celebrate with her as she launches her book physically
and virtually.

We present to you our labor of love for the 41st time. Enjoy!
